YIN YOGA  - What to expect :

Experience a sense of greater calmness of the mind and more openness and flexibility of the body in this one-day yoga workshop.

Holding simple poses longer and passively in this practice is deeply nourishing and has a myriad of benefits. Allowing the body to be still in these Yin poses leads to stillness of the breath, which in turn leads to stillness of the mind and when these two conditions are met, deep awareness is possible.

Annie, a long-time student of Tibetan Buddhism, has been practicing and studying yoga for more than five decades and teaching many styles of yoga for more than thirty years. She has led numerous yoga and meditation retreats, workshops, and classes in Australia, India, Indonesia, and Nepal

BREATHWORK session:

On Sunday morning  Polly will lead us in a Breath Work session to integrate the yoga and contemplative practice of the previous day. This session will involve conscious connected breathing to a curated soundscape with an integration session afterward.'

Transforming the body...

Sunday afternoon, as we enjoy lunch and refreshments together, we will offer a presentation on "Why do we go on Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites "  - Annie has many years of experience in creating  Pilgrimage experiences for small and large groups in India, Nepal, and Indonesia, and we look forward to learning about the benefits of visiting Buddhist Holy Sites, especially in the company of a qualified guide  - an opportunity not to be missed if it comes your way!
"Pilgrimage is not sight-seeing, it is heart-seeing"
Transforming the mind.....
"Pilgrimage can be a beautiful opportunity to connect with Buddhist culture, faith, and history. Although you may walk in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims who came before you, the journey and what you find within will be yours alone."
